How do I create a contacts file? To create a contacts file, just follow the instructions for your specific e-mail provider in the list below:
Outlook
1. Open Outlook and select Import and Export from the File menu 2. When the wizard opens, select Export to a file and click Next 3. Select Comma separated values (Windows) and click Next 4. Select the Contacts folder you would like to export and click Next 5. Choose a filename and a place to save the file (for instance, Contacts.csv on the Desktop) and click Next 6. Make sure the checkbox next to Export... is checked and click Next 7. Browse for the filename on the "Find your Friends" page
Mozilla Thunderbird
1. Open Thunderbird and select Address Book from the Tools menu 2. When the Address Book window opens, select Export... from the Tools menu 3. Choose a filename and a place to save the file (for instance, Contacts.ldif on the Desktop) 4. Browse for the filename on the "Find your Friends" page
